what if we invert the idea of a travel guide and instead
of looking at foreign lands we look at our own hood?
based on lucy lippards idea of inverting the wanderers gaze; we opened our eyes to our generic surroundings - 12 teens from the neukölln neighborhood collaborated with me to make an artist book. they put up categories and photographed what they valorised, debated typography, the ownership of urban space and the frameworks of a good kebab shop with me.
